About the artist
Guillaume Legrand (b.1986) works and lives in Lyon. His practice is a blend of sculpture and installation. He works with raw material such as concrete, plaster and wood; enhanced with different re-appropriated objects such as figurines and ordinary furniture.
He composes his displays like pictorial elements, creating familiar spaces where the spectator could project himself in this interior landscape. The objects that he transforms are spontaneous, at the same time, temporary. He believes that his creations and its environment, in which he anchors them in, are related to the intimacy that binds us all.
