Weightless and without wheels, CRUISE is every skateboarder's ultimate dream state. Seeming to float in an endless void, the intimate and immersive light sculpture is made up of a bisected skateboard lined with luminescent wire, suspended within four walls of infinity mirrors.
An imaginary state is set for viewers to explore the infinite possibilities of skating with all forms of extraordinary capabilities, which has always been a dream for the artists.

Multimedia artist Brandon Tay (b.1981), sound designer Safuan Johari (b.1981) and award-winning sneaker designer Jonning Chng (b.1984) came together to present CRUISE, the first ever collaboration between these artists of different disciplines. They have each presented their works in Singapore and on the international stage – from the UK to France to China.
